A Three-Semester Journey Through the Edge of Modern Physics
Frontiers of Physics is a three-semester program built for students who've outgrown a typical physics curriculum and want to know what's actually at the edge of what we understand.
Each semester builds directly on the last, so the three read as one continuous story rather than three disconnected topics.
Fall semester: "Time" asks what space and time even are, building through Einstein's special and general relativity.
Winter semester: Quantum Mechanics & The Standard Model. A real foundation in quantum theory applied to the accepted picture of every particle and force in nature.
Spring Semester: String Theory & The Fate of the Universe, asking whether these two pictures can ever be reconciled, then turning to the universe's own origin and eventual fate.
It is ideal for my third and fourth-year students.
