Physics problem-solving session

will be taught by Dr. Azadeh Samadani on Tuesday nights from 7 pm to 8 pm. This class aims to solidify the concepts covered over the past year and to approach them with a more mathematical perspective. This session will heavily rely on discussions and will prioritize student engagement. Each week, students will receive a "problem of the week" to solve independently, and we will collectively discuss their solutions during class. All students (new and returning/conceptual and quantitative level) are welcome.

Age Group: All students

Dates: Tuesdays from 7:00-8:00 PM. We will start on June 11th. The date for this class will be June 11, 18, and 25, July 2, 9, 30, and Aug 6 and 13th. I will have to take July 16th and 23rd off for travel.

Tuition: $160 ($20/class)

Mathematics problem-solving session

This session will be taught by Alex Wong. Alex is a former student of mine at the Pingry school. He is a rising senior at the Pingry school with a passion for math, physics, and teaching! Alex has participated in a variety of math competitions including mathleague.org, AMC 12, and PuMaC. Alex also has experience tutoring both math and English, helping students all over the world prepare for the SAT English section over Zoom. In his free time, Alex likes to play water polo, practice the piano, and read both books and science papers! He is a fantastic teacher; he has helped me for the past two years with my in-person "Math Mondays" students. He is very energetic and very good with younger kids.
